The Digital Switchover - are you ready?

Key dates and information on the Digital Switchover

As many of you may already be aware, in order to watch TV after the switchover you will need to ensure that you have converted or upgraded your TV equipment to receive a digital TV signal. Premier Telesolutions are pleased to announce that we are able to supply you with everything you need to do this!

Some areas, including parts in Scotland, will be subject to the digital change sooner than others so we have put together a useful list. Premier Telesolutions are also pleased to advise that we have a wide range of TV systems that will be compliant with the digital switchover and would be happy to consult with you to ensure that your hospital, ward, clinic or entire trust have up to date equipment resulting in no disturbance to you and your patients viewing experience during their stay.

Transmitter groups yet to undergo the digital switchover are:-

STV South:- South west Highlands and Islands, central Scotland, Argyll, Bute, Rosneath, Lothian, parts of Edinburgh, Fife, Glasgow.
Tyne Tees:- much of North Yorkshire and Cleveland, north Northumberland, serving Durham and Tyneside
Yorkshire:- Lincolnshire, parts of Humberside and East Yorkshire, the Chesterfield area, West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire, the Scarborough area, the Sheffield area.

Central:- the Nottingham area, Bromsgrove, Stratford upon Avon, Herefordshire, south Shropshire and parts of Gloucestershire, north Shropshire and south Cheshire, much of the east Midlands, Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Oxfordshire, parts of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, much of the West Midlands

Anglia:- Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, parts of Suffolk and Essex, Norfolk and north Suffolk

London:- Greater London and parts of the Home Counties

Meridian:- north and mid Kent, south and east Kent, Berkshire and Surrey, the Hastings area, East Sussex, the Margate area, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, parts of Dorset, West Sussex, the Tunbridge Wells area, the Brighton area.

Border:- Scottish Borders, Cumbria, south west Scotland and The South Lakes

Granada:- Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and north Staffordshire

Wales:- The Swansea area, south west Wales, south and central Wales, north west Wales, north east Wales, parts of east and central Wales, parts of west and central Wales, Cardiff, Newport and south east Wales

West:- Bristol, parts of Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire

West Country:- Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Cornwall
